Fabulous

Fabulous time had on the houseboat. Staff were great, couldn’t do enough for you and interacted well. They made sure we saw as much wildlife as we possibly could. Lovely food and plenty of it, and as much to drink as you wanted, soft and alcohol. Would definitely do this again!

Emma was professional efficient, and responsive from our first contact. Emma has a wealth of experience and ensures her guests receive the best. It was a fully packed 2 days with a variety of points of interest it was made more special with Laurence as our Guide who is attentive, friendly and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. We had been on a tour with him 10 years ago on our first visit to Goa so was a delight to see him. Thank you both so much

Simply the Best.

Never been to Goa before, wanted to do trips and looking for recommendations, Emazing tours was highly recommended and so glad we booked with Emma. The communication with Emma has been fantastic, had a slight hiccup before departure as our flight was cancelled to Delhi but Emma was on it and had us booked on a slightly later flight, sometimes things don't always go to plan, but it's how they are resolved that is testamount to a good operator and Emma sorted it no problem within minutes. The guide we had in Delhi, was fantastic, a real gem of a guy, so informative, helpful, friendly, it just went like clockwork. His driver Rashid met us at Delhi airport, again what a driver, he was brilliant, his skill of driving in such a chaoctic city was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Emazing tours, you won't be disappointed. It was a memorable trip for us.

Great experience for first timer

Absolutely brilliant trip, the morning trek in Karnataka is not for the faint hearted and would be no good for people with mobility issues, Laurence is very funny, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and defiantly knows his history, if I had to change something it would be to possible go back to hotel to refresh before the baby krishna temple, so we can spend a little more time there. The train journey to and from margao to udupi is well worth the experience, definitely recommend

The vision I put on paper you made come to life.

Picked up on time by tour guide Lawrence, after pickups we were driven to Margoa station to board our train. Ohh what an experience, lots to see along the journey, Lawrence always on hand to inform us when to have our cameras ready for a good picture. Entertainment on the train, sellers selling everything from chai, water, samosa, jewellery, fruit, toys and more. Beggars singing their songs, the lady boy wanting money, Lawrence soon told him to go. Some people find them intimidating, I always think best to smile. A time to get to know the others during the journey exchanging our funny stories and by the end of the journey new friends made. Arrived in Udipi, we were transferred by minibus to our hotel which is fantastic. Room a good size with excellent showers wifi, TV. On site fabulous restaurant with excellent food at good prices. There is a shop which will have everything you need if you have forgotten anything. We had a fantastic meal In the restaurant and a few kingfishers, then to bed for 5 am wake up call. Coach left 5- 30am prompt first stop Agumbe a great view point, fantastic scenery with plenty of monkeys to keep you amused. A lovely experience Next stop Kavaledurga natural beauty and trekking terrain best known for the 9th century fort which rests on top of the hill, once at the summit you can soak In the breathtaking 360 degree views. For the trekking I would advise you wear a sensible shoe or trainer. If you have mobility problems, speak with Emma who will be happy to advise. If you feel you are unable to take part in the trekking please don’t let this part put you off as alternative arrangements can be made. Such a shame to miss out. Next stop VIDYASHANKER Temple a 1000 year architectural beauty in Sringen. There are 12 pillars representing 12 signs of the zodiac, no surprise this is on peoples bucket lists. The royal elephants Amruta and Bhanumathi were rescued from the villages and now owned by the temple.fascinating to see. Now we’re ready for a cup of tea. Next stop Balanoor tea factory. Interesting to see the process of how tea is made. Oh we were ready for that cuppa. Was lovely. Next stop Karkala. A town in Udipi district of Karnataka. There are several ancient temples but the main attraction is the statue of Bahubali 17 metres tall carved from a single block of granite, and can be seen for 19 miles. What a fabulous experience. Last stop thousand pillar temple full of elaborate sculptures and decorations, no two pillars are the same. Beautiful! Ohh what a day. Evening time time to visit the famous Hindu temple were. 400 year cultural festival of Udipi takes place. The Deity is invited out from the temple and is taken on a chariot ride, hundreds of people waiting for the Deity to leave the temple. A fabulous bonkers amazing experience. Back to hotel shower, we had our meal in them On site restaurant again, good service fabulous food and sharing our experiences over a few kingfishers. A day packed with Karnataka culture with not a second to spare. I Would definitely recommend if you are interested in cultural experiences.I enjoyed it so much I went twice. Absolutely brilliant, My recommendation for the train would be to take a small Cushion / pillow for your back. Toilet tissue as it’s not provided. If you don’t want to take snacks there are plenty for sale on the train. Once again Emazing tours do not disappoint. I will say it again Emma is second to none in my opinion, highly experienced in the travel Industry, professional but down to earth, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend

Great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The travelling fun and interesting, the hotel was great. We enjoyed all the different cultural stops, there are so many things to see in Karnataka. Our favorite was the Krishna temple, we had a fabulous time there. We found the walk to the Fort quite difficult but other than that 1 thing it was a great tour. Emma's admin and Lawrence's knowledge made it a great trip . Thanks

Best tour ever!!!

From start to finish, Emma took care of everything… Including organising our Indian visas at last minute!! Emma‘s communication was excellent, and she was happy to tailor the Tour to our needs and we had a truly memorable day. The Tour was perfectly paced, and despite it being a long day there were so many different things to see that we didn’t get tired. Lawrence was a brilliant guide. He gave us so much information and brought everything to life, the temples, the tea factory, the sculptures !!! I think the highlight was visiting the Sri Krishna Temple in the evening and watching the chariot ride… you have to see it to believe it!!! Cant recommend this tour highly enough….I’m definitely going to book another tour with of Emma soon. 😁

A must if in India

From picking us up from the hotel to getting back the next morning it was just the best. The tour guide was so helpful and told us so much about Mumbai. We started at the slums and saw so much of how they recycled absolutely everything, how they lived and how they just got on with everything. Ghandis house was interesting learning all about his death. In the afternoon after lunch we moved to the rich side seeing the Taj Mahal hotel which was amazing then the gateway to India which was abit disappointing as it had all scaffolding around it so could t get the true picture but that was just bad luck. After a rest at a hotel we went for the train and honestly that was an experience in itself but so glad we did it. Had fantastic time well worth a visit.

Hampi is just a must do!!!

Organisation and comms from Emma outstanding. We had a last minute withdrawal from our group due to injury. Emma resolved this the night before to everyones satisfaction. Organisation for whole trip excellent and worked really well. Picked up from Palolem. Got to Margao where was met by guide and met with rest of the group. Was about 15 of us. Train trip was long and a real eye opener and really part of the experience. The tour guide mitigated a lot of the anxiety of the trip by making sure we were settled and checking on us regularly. Met at train station and taken to hotel quickly and able to chill after a long journey. Hotel was ok. The actually Hampi tour was breathtaking. A long day but wonderful throughout. It truly was breathtaking. If i could give the Hampi guide more than 5 i would. He was outstanding and added massively to our understanding and enjoyment. Overall i could not recommend this trip enough. Its so worthwhile and made our Goa holiday. Emma made everything so easy i wouldnt have booked with anyone else. It is great value for money and some on the tour went through bigger companies and paid more than double this for very little more. Do it. I promise you wont regret it. The sunset finale is just perfect.

Excellent organisation and fantastic tour

We were recommended Emma by someone in our hotel and from the minute I made the enquiry Emma sent me everything I needed to know and came back to me very quickly. We met people on our tour who had paid far more than we had for the exact same tour. Hampi was amazing and the tour itself was fantastic. Our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure we were all ok. On the train he went up and down multiple times to make sure everyone was fine. This is a tiring trip with a long train ride there and back, that often gets delayed and there were early mornings and it was hot on site. However the bus took us to different parts of the site that would have taken too long to walk and as it got hotter we had lunch. All in all I can’t recommend this trip enough. It’s tiring, bonkers and everything in between but it’s amazing. Book it now.

If you are looking for a new experience, by booking The KERELAN HOUSEBOAT tour will enable you to see some sights you wouldn’t see any other way,

Once again I am not disappointed with Emazing tours, always go above and beyond, professional friendly staff always wanting to please. This tour was really peaceful, providing opportunities to create more cherished memories. Wether you have booked for Adventure or Relaxation this boat ride will definitely unlock a world of joy. I was picked up on time by the taxi, then we were taken to The Chapora river were a small boat was waiting to ferry us to the houseboat. We were shown our rooms and given time to explore. We then went up top deck for some drinks, we were asked what we would like to drink (alcohol ) I explained I had ordered Tubourg. Unfortunately it was not there but a member of staff was straight into the small boat and went to get it, which only took about 5 minutes. We then had our evening meal then enjoyed getting to know the others over a drink. After a few bevvies time for bed. The bedroom was clean, good shower, toilet and toilet paper was provided. The bed was super comfortable with a thick mattress. After a good nights sleep up for coffee, then breakfast was served. We then set sail again along the river, extremely peaceful and relaxing. After a cupple of hours we were served a light lunch. We were then taken back to shore were the taxi picked us to take us to the various locations. The whole experience was brilliant, the boat was clean and spacious, the bedroom was clean the bed comfortable. The service was good. Other people with us stated that they wished the tour could be longer, they enjoyed it so much that they are going to look into it for the future. Thank you for making this boat tour special. A fabulous cupple of days enjoyed by all.

I was picked up on time for journey to airport. Comfortable flight with Indigo airline. Guide was waiting to guide us around magical Mumbai. First stop Dharavi Slums, learned so much about the recycling business within the slum were nothing is wasted. We saw the leather workshops, schools, shops, bakeries, temple, gym, it’s Emazing what goes on inside. Enjoyed the Thieves market were you can buy just about anything, Interesting walk around Ghandis museum were we learned so much more about him. Gateway to India and The Taj Mahal was fantastic and if you wanted you can have afternoon tea at The Taj. Enjoyed the Hanging Gardens and Marine drive. Visited Doni Ghat the world’s largest open air laundry, what an eye opener. Colaba causeway full of shops restaurants, hustle and bustle, we had a meal and a well earned beer here. Our guide met us after and escorted us to a hotel which was a surprise, we had a room were we could have a shower and freshen up for our overnight Indian rail journey which is a must if you are looking for The Indian experience. Beauty personified

I was picked up 5am, on time for the exciting Yana Gokarna tour. After picking the other tourists we began the drive to Karnataka. First stop Ankara for a fabulous traditional Indian breakfast, and plenty of it. Tea coffee, water, toilet and washing facilities were clean I suggest you carry tissue ect as this is not provided. Plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and chat to the other tourists. Next stop Yana, located in the western ghats. UNESCO world heritage site famous for its gigantic spectacular natural rock formation. This was absolutely stunning, just like walking into another world. There are a few steps here as you will see in the pictures but not much to worry about if you have mobility problems. Mobility problems do vary if you are concerned you can speak with Emma who I know will be happy to advise. I have had 2 knee replacement, one recent and I did not encounter any problems. Next stop Gokarna, an ancient city sacred to pilgrims who flock in their millions each year. Apparently sometimes called Varanasi of the south. My personal opinion is that it is not like Varanasi, I have been there. For me Gokarna has its own personality, beauty, charm and exquisiteness and does not need to be compared. The most holy spot is Kotitirtha, a man made lake believed to be a sacred bathing place to cleanse your sins You certainly experience the real India here. Absolutely stunning. Gokana was my personal favourite place of this day and I would have liked more time to explore. Next stop Kudle beach for lunch. A beautiful restaurant right on the amazing beach front. The food was excellent value not expensive however the alcohol was expensive. Plenty of time to relax, enjoy the meal chat with the others and take in the lovely views. Next on to Cabo de Ramo Cancona South Goa for the sunset. Unfortunately for us due to weather conditions on the day no sunset but it certainly didn’t stop us from enjoying the stunning views. Lawrence the guide found us a fantastic restaurant right on the front were we enjoyed a drink or two. Ohh what a perfect day, I’m glad I booked with Emazingtours. I enjoyed every second. Emma is second to none, professional and knows her stuff! Lawrence the guide , helpful, and knowledgeable. The driver very careful experienced in driving on the Indian roads. I would definitely recommend this tour though Emazing tours, you can’t go wrong. Exceptional value
